My Princess

My precious little princess, Elizabeth Ashley was born on 9.25.07, and I can still remember the day like it was yesterday. I arrived at the hospital at 2 a.m. not thinking I was really in labor. I was to be induced that morning at 7 a.m., I had been having contractions for days without any progress. When I got there at 2 I was 4 cm dialated about 2 hours later I was 7 almost 8 cm dialated and my waterbag was about to break so I went ahead and got my epidural and it was like being in heaven!! Since it was 4 in the morning and I had been up all night I tried to get some sleep but I was way to excited. My doctor came in at 6 just as my water finally broke I was still almost 8 cm so I had to have some medicine to help things along. By 9:30 a.m. I was 10 cm dialted and ready to push. I was so excited and ready to meet my little girl. I pushed for about 30 minutes and then there she was. This beautiful little girl, was finally here after waiting 9 long months! She was 7 lbs. 3.2 oz and 19 3/4 inches long.

My precious little girl is now almost 8 months old. She has changed so much doing new things all the time. She is now crawling and pulling up on things, eating solid foods, saying "mama", "baba" and "baby". She is just the most amazing little girl ever!!
